Making points

You can press toolbar button

or give menu command Geo->Make Points...

After you start the function Make Points Dialog will appear

And point selection cycle will be active so that you may pick locations on the screen and make point entities.

If you want to make points along a curve press button Generate points on curve
And Curve Point Factory dialog will appear.

You can either define point count directly or distance between each point that will be generated on curve. After pressing OK on Curve Point Factory Dialog Model selection cycle will begin for you to select the curve entities to generate points on.

Generating points on a surface is similar. When you press Generate points on surface button Surface Point Factory dialog will appear.

You can again select a distance step or point count along u and v directions of the surface.
After that model selection cycle will begin for you to select a surface to generate points on.
